Our Modern Self Image

The media blurs our idea of what we look like. How do they do it? They alter the models and acters with make-up and computers. Making the model not even reconisable after they are done. They focuse on physical beauty instead of inner beauty( personality). There are four things that conect together that can discribe the way we get our view of what self image is. Think about the Earth and it's layers. The outter layer holds every thing in or together this layer would be the Media. The next layer would be Advertisments it is in the Media. The next layer is Perception of Beauty, we get Perception of Beauty from the Advertisments. The final layer is Self Image, we are decived be Advertisments which is Perception of Beauty which ruins our Self Image.
